Louisville AAUW’s president is Susan Baker for 2017-2018.  Susan Baker has a new Strategic Planning Committee and is  recruiting new members of all backgrounds for the local branch. Louisville AAUW will celebrate 100 years as a local organization in Louisville in 2018.

SpaceTrek Camp is a special statewide project approved by the Kentucky AAUW Division and supported by all of the AAUW branches in Kentucky. This coming  July 6 – 14, 2018 the seventh SpaceTrek Science Camp and graduation Ceremony will be held in the Space Science Center Auditorium at Morehead, Kentucky on a Saturday morning July 14, 2018. The Secretary of State in Kentucky, Allison Lundergan Grimes, has been the keynote speaker previously and is very supportive of SpaceTrek. Kentucky is the place to be for space science for young women in this part of the United States.
